Hill Titan Thumb

Description

The Efficient & Robust design of the THUMB allows for up to 160 degrees rotation compared to the market average of 120 degrees. Our THUMB is manufactured in our state of the art facility in Newry using Hardox 400 steel which is 4 times stronger than mild steal. This allows us to make it lighter and offers the operator more lifting capacity when it’s in use.

Hill Engineering offer the Thumb in both dipper arm mounted rotation and coupler front pin mounted rotation options. Each Thumb will be specifically designed to fit your coupler, bucket and machine type giving the operator security in the knowledge that he can grab and hold materials with full confidence that the system has been designed and built for their machine setup. The Thumb comes with a built in cross line relief valve for protection against excess forces from bucket crowding, heavy duty rams to prevent buckling & spherical bearings in the rams to allow for heavier loads.

The Thumb is perfect for work in the forestry, landscaping and demolition sectors while also increasing your excavators functionality in every day use

Hill Engineering manufacture Thumbs for 3T to 20T excavators.
